Dolphins Fans On Malik Willis’ Top Target In 2026
The Phinsider The Phinsider

This past week, I asked the following question about this upcoming season:

Who do you expect to step up as Malik Willis top wide receiver target for the Dolphins 2026-2027 NFL season, and why? If you can’t decide between two guys, please give us your two and your argument for each, possibly holding the top spot.

Below are some of your thoughts and answers-

StanleyDoyle1 believes the 5th-rounder might have something.

Coleman could be a diamond in the rough from the slot. The Fins will probably be forced into a short passing game and Coleman could be a go-to outlet. I think the Washingtons have hit their ceilings, and am not bullish on Douglas or any other WR. Long year ahead.

Lefty5150 is not sold on any of them.

You want us to pick two? I doubt any of the WRs will step up.

Dolfanjoe first made some solid points about this game that we all love by pointing out that, at the end of the day, it’s just a game and really just a hobby for all of us, and our real lives and families are much more important than any of this other nonsense. He also made some solid points about this team and how there is a mountain of opportunities for a variety of players to step up and claim a spot on this year’s roster and going forward.

Amazing how hiccups in our personal lives can showcase how truly irrelevant football is really. It is what it was meant to be, a distraction and entertainment. Sorry to hear anyone in our group is going thru medical problems. Some more serious than others. But even having a tooth removed will show one where football stands, and that is way to the back of the pack ! Wish all good health for you and family. Now on to football and receivers. Normally pre season means little most fans. That is because other than a few spots most positions and starters are pretty much set. Our team is (wide) open, especially at that position. We have speed and we have size. Camp and pre season games will show who will start. Chris Bell will have the luxury of sitting and learning from the sideline for who knows how long. Like a QB who gets to sit and learn it should be invaluable to him. Tolbert and Atwell bring experience and speed. Trying to stop our running game teams may find themselves burned badly by these two. Two TE sets will open the passing game to running backs and TEs also. Coleman Reagor and Douglas will get there chance to shine in pre season. Should be fun for us.

MiamiItaliano thinks the veteran free agent signing might be the guy.

I really hope Bell doesn’t miss all of 2026. If I had pick without Bell in the lineup, I’ll go with Tolbert. Hopefully Douglas steps up for #2 spot. Coleman and M. Washington battle for the...
