Dolphins fan confidence sky rockets following win over Jets

The Miami Dolphins won their first game of the 2025 NFL season last week, defeating their AFC East rivals, the New York Jets. The win moved them to 1-3 on the season, but maybe the bigger impact of the game was the Dolphins actually looked like a team who could compete and win in the league this year.

The performance, coming on the heels of the team’s loss to the Buffalo Bills in a game where Miami went toe-to-toe with the division’s top team for much of the game, seems to have the Dolphins headed in the right direction, finally. And the fan base seems to know it.

After reaching an all-time low in our SB Nation Reacts fan confidence poll in Week 3, when just three percent of the responses indicated a positive outlook for the Dolphins, the number ticked up to nine percent last week. This week, it jumped to 32 percent. While that number still indicated more than two thirds of the fans are feeling Miami is headed in the wrong direction, it is a huge improvement from where the fans were just a week before.

This weekend, Miami visits the Carolina Panthers. Could a second-straight win move the needle above the 50 percent mark?
