When you’re watching the Chicago Bears play, do you ever find yourself thinking the referees are letting the Bears’ opponents get away with everything?

If you peruse our open threads on gameday or dip into social media while the Bears are playing, you will find plenty of complaints about the officiating.

But what if I told you you weren't imagining it, and the referees really did have it out for the Bears?

CBS Sports shared this infographic earlier today, and it justifies all those thoughts we had that the refs weren’t calling it down the middle for our beloved.

Over the last three seasons, Chicago’s opponents were penalized far less than the opponents of the other 31 teams in the league.

Their NFC North rivals are all ranked in the top half, with the Minnesota Vikings’ foes having the most flags thrown against them. The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions also benefit more than the Bears have from 2022 to 2024.
