How many games do fans believe the team will win in 2025?

A few days ago, we asked readers of Buffalo Rumblings to weigh in with their thoughts about the Buffalo Bills’ chances in 2025. Specifically, we were curious to find out how many games fans believe the Bills will win this season, based on the latest over/under win total at FanDuel Sportsbook, which has Buffalo at over/under 11.5 games for the 2025 NFL season.

Yes, it’s too early to put too much stock into how many games the Bills will end up winning this season — but in almost every corner of the internet, you can find someone talking about how Buffalo’s going to do this season. So, despite the Bills having yet to hold a workout session, practice, camp, or even build an injury report, people love to get a jump on the action while numbers appear favorable to their own odds of winning.

Buffalo made a series of moves in free agency to improve upon last year’s roster. The team has only lost one true unrestricted free agent (UFA) in wide receiver Mack Hollins. Every other UFA remains unsigned as of publishing.

A reminder, of course is that wins are difficult in the NFL. The best teams are always handed the toughest schedules based on last year’s records. So that means after winning the AFC East for a franchise record fifth consecutive time, Buffalo will again face a challenging first-place schedule.

A quick glance at the schedule shows a particularly challenging set of home games, but Buffalo has shown well at home in recent seasons. Since 2020, the Bills have a 35-7 record in home games — including finishing undefeated at home during the 2024 regular season.

Since 2019, Josh Allen’s first full season as starting quarterback in Buffalo, the Bills have never finished with a record worse than 10-6. Understanding all of that, how did voters respond to FanDuel Sportsbook’s over/under odds for Buffalo of 11.5 total wins?

Bills Mafia is very confident in their team’s chances this season. Why shouldn’t they be? Josh Allen is still QB1, and there are few teams able to boast the level of coaching and front-office consistency Buffalo has, led of course by head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane.

A total of 87% of respondents rolled with the “over” and have the Bills winning more than 11.5 games in 2024. Are you surprised by these results? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
