DJ Moore hasn’t caught his first pass in a Buffalo Bills uniform, but he’s already figuring out one of the quickest ways to become a fan favorite in Buffalo.

According to a news report from WKBW, Moore recently stopped by Tee Shirt University at the Walden Galleria while shopping with his family. After spotting a display of Bills T-shirts with his name and number, he asked how much it would cost to buy them all.

The answer? About $1,200 for all 27 shirts.

Without hesitation, Moore bought every one of them and told the store to give them away to fans for free.

Assistant manager Scott Marshall told WKBW that Moore kept the interaction lighthearted, even joking that he “worked for” DJ Moore before revealing it really was him. As he walked out, Moore stuck his head back into the store and simply said, “Yeah, it’s me.”

The store didn’t advertise the giveaway. Fans just happened to walk in and were surprised with a free DJ Moore shirt courtesy of Buffalo’s newest receiver. One parent even shared that their son received one on his birthday, a post Moore later reposted on social media.

It’s a relatively small gesture, but those moments tend to carry a little more weight in Western New York.

Buffalo has always embraced players who embrace the city. Fans certainly appreciate touchdowns and highlight catches, but they also notice when players genuinely connect with the community. Those little moments often become part of a player’s legacy just as much as what happens on Sundays.

Since arriving in Buffalo, Moore has spoken about how excited he is for a fresh start. Buying out a local store’s inventory just so fans could take home a free shirt wasn’t something he had to do, but it’s exactly the kind of authentic act Bills Mafia remembers.

With training camp still a few weeks away Moore still hasn’t had the opportunity to show out in front of fans. But if first impressions matter, he’s already off to an outstanding start.
