The Philadelphia Eagles likely paid for the sins of their fan base when they faced the San Francisco 49ers.

Outside of Lincoln Financial Field, fans from San Francisco were running into a bunch of issues. The city of brotherly love was showing none of it. One video showed young Philly fans yelling and cursing at them. That was just the start of things to come.

Another disgusting video showed Eagles fans tossing beer cans at 49ers fans. They also screamed obscenities at them as they made their way towards the stadium.

Yikes: Eagles fans were THROWING beer cans at 49ers fans as they entered the stadium for tonight's game.

What an awful look for all Philly fans…

The temperature inside the stadium was just as heated. Cameras caught AJ Brown having to be held back from attacking Nick Sirianna. Eagles fans booed their team several times throughout the contest for poor offensive play.

Brown would decline to speak to reporters after the game.

In the end, the 49ers would come out with a win. Brock Purdy threw a go-ahead 6-yard touchdown pass to Christian McCaffrey late in the fourth quarter. Purdy threw for 262 yards, per the ESPN box score. The 49ers head to top-seeded Seattle next weekend for an NFC divisional playoff game.

Philadelphia now heads home for the offseason.
