Meko and Morgan are back on the Pride of Detroit YouTube Channel, discussing Za’Darius Smith’s recent comments expressing his desire to return to the Lions.
I never thought I'd be saying this while writing about the Detroit Lions, but man, a big shoutout to Kash Doll.
On a serious note, dating Kash Doll may not directly end up helping to facilitate defensive end Za’Darius Smith’s desire to return to the Motor City, but it certainly might be helping the Lions cause. Smith has really seemed to have embraced the city of Detroit... and oh yeah, he also really likes their professional football team as well.
“We both know where I want to be,” Smith said to USA Today. “Hopefully, I can get back to Detroit because the coaching staff and everybody in the front office are great. When I’m there, I feel like a leader and like I can influence the young guys and do great things. Hopefull,y I can get back to where I want to be in Detroit.”
Meko Scott and I (Morgan) broke down what we think Smith’s comments mean for the 2025 season, while also addressing a few potential holdups that could complicate things a bit.
