Today, it’s the performance of rookie defensive lineman Yahya Black in the season opener against the New York Jets on Sunday and whether or not he’s earned more playing time.
Black had a solid debut in a rotational role against the Jets, and was one of the few bright spots in what was a miserable overall day for the Pittsburgh defensive line. None of the Steelers linemen were especially good, but did Black earn more playing time in the future, and should a move to nose tackle be in the bards?
