Detroit Lions vs. Los Angeles Rams live discussion: 1st half
Pride of Detroit Pride of Detroit

The Detroit Lions are on the west coast for a big game against the Los Angeles Rams.

The Lions are the first team on the outside of the NFC playoff picture and will likely need to go at least 3-1 down the stretch to work their way in. A win over the Rams gives them a little breathing room in their final three games of the season, especially considering the Rams are likely the toughest game left on their schedule.

But the Rams have plenty to play for, too. They entered Sunday as the NFC’s top seed but with the same record (10-3) as the Seattle Seahawks, they’re not only in danger of losing that top spot, but they’d could lose home-field advantage if Seattle manages to post a better record in their final four games. Los Angeles can’t afford a single slip-up, or their postseason will involve some road trips.

It’s no surprise that with stakes so high, this is FOX’s Game of the Week. Most people in the United States will have access to the game, and it will be called by FOX’s top crew: Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady.
