The Detroit Lions officially announced their 2025 UDFA class and released the list of players trying out during rookie minicamp.
With the Detroit Lions rookie minicamp beginning on Friday, the team officially announced the list of undrafted rookies that were signed following the 2025 NFL Draft. We have been keeping a tracker of the Lions' reported 2025 UDFA signings and even broke down the details of the 10 players reported to be joining the team.

It’s worth noting that it was previously reported that Houston EDGE Keith Cooper Jr. was planning on signing with the Lions, but he is listed amongst the team’s tryout players in the next section, meaning he does not currently have a contract at this time.
Additionally, the Lions announced the “initial” jersey numbers of their rookies, but don’t go on a shopping spree just yet—these numbers do often change ahead of the season.

While none of these players currently have a contract with the Lions, it’s worth pointing out that it’s common for players to earn a contract for training camp. Cooper could be among those players, as could Eastern Michigan quarterback Snyder, who attended the Lions’ local pro day ahead of the draft and impressed enough to earn a tryout at rookie minicamp.
