The honeymoon comes after a luxurious wedding, and a $20,000 bachelor party dinner enjoyed by Watson and his crew. The power couple officially tied the knot in early July.

The festivities haven’t kept Deshaun Watson from working to get healthy. He provided an update on his rehab in an exercise bike session while on his postnuptial vacation.

Watson is working to get back to the field after his injury. He’s hoping to prove his doubters wrong on their opinion of his fully guaranteed $230 million contract.

Given his controversial past, the signal caller’s supporters can often seem few and far between. His quarterback coach recently took an unprompted swipe at one of his most notable advocates.

Deshaun Watson’s QB coach trashed Deion Sanders.

Sanders offered prayers following the passer’s season-ending injury while others cheered for his misfortune. He posted an immediate response on social media after witnessing the setback.

Quincy Avery trashed Sanders and his commitment to the Colorado football program during a July interview. “The reason I have such a difficult time with Deion is that I think that so much of the things that he does are about him rather than other people,” he said.

“I think a lot of people miss that. So, we get to see who he is as a person when he has to take on this team without his sons involved.”

Avery suggests that his only loyalty to the Buffs was due to his sons’ involvement on the team. He implied that he only took the role as head coach to benefit Shedeur Sanders‘ NFL pursuits.
