Denzel Washington was on First Take Wednesday and gave his thoughts on the state of the Cowboys while roasting Jerry Jones in the process:

Live look at me sitting back and enjoying this clip:
Denzel went to ESPN and thought to himself, ‘I’m leaving here with something‘. By the end of the spot he was going to let Jerry Jones know how he and all of Cowboys Nation felt. The good thing is Jerry don’t care. He doesn’t care what no one thinks. He’s been doing this season after season and guess what? He’ll probably have to do it with George Pickens next year. He still hasn’t talked to Micah Parsons or his agent and we’re less than three weeks from the season opener. It’s amazing. This is a real life representation of Cowboys fans since this mess started:
The Cowboys front office is like Denzel trying to land the plane upside down in Flight while he’s five vodka nips deep except this plane feels like it’s going to crash and kill everyone on board.
But for real, this might be the greatest performance in the last five years out of Denzel. Look at the range of emotion! Passion! Anger! Disappointment! Absolute cinema!
I love that Denzel went on First Take to promote his movie and then does this interview with Sports Illustrated and calls out the “opinionaires” and how every talking head is sitting around getting fat thinking they know how to do it. I mean, he’s describing Stephen A. Smith here:
This is ironic huh? It’s not like this was promo for another movie, this was the same junket! He really is a Cowboys fan! Hypocritical in nature. They all used to boast how the Eagles had no titles and now they have to talk about the number of rings to make themselves feel good even though they haven’t come close to the mountaintop in 30 years.
