Mile High Report
The Denver Broncos (15-3) are hosting the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots (15-3). However, they’ll do it without Bo Nix who suffered a season-ending ankle injury in their Divisional Round win over the Buffalo Bills. Jarrett Stidham will take the helm and face off against Drake Maye and the Patriots. Can this team keep the OVERDOG mentality alive for one more week?
According to FanDuel, the Broncos are 4.5-point home UNDERDOGS to the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. The over/under stands at 40.5 for this matchup.

It was a short celebration in Broncos Country this weekend, but the NFL shuts down for no one man and the team will have to try to earn a Super Bowl berth without Nix next Sunday. This team has faced all sorts of adversity, but this one might be the biggest challenge yet. In spots, great teams can overcome — like the 2015 Broncos rolling with Brock Osweiler to secure homefield in the regular season.
Or like Nick Foles for the Philadelphia Eagles to win their first championship in 2018. Jarrett Stidham will have to do it without any regular season reps, though. He’ll need to play flawless football and the Broncos defense will need to show out like they did early in the season. Put the pressure on Drake Maye and this is certainly a winnable game. We can worry about the Super Bowl after taking the conference championship. The season isn’t over just yet, Broncos Country.
