Talk about the TNF game here!
Two former Chicago Bears quarterbacks will be across the field tonight as Jim Harbaugh’s Los Angeles Chargers take on Sean Payton’s Denver Broncos. Combined, these two threw for 11,645 yards in their time wearing the Navy and Orange, although Payton only accounted for 79 of those in the three games he played in for the Spare Bears of 1987.
The (9-5) Broncos and the (8-6) Chargers are each currently holding spots in the AFC playoff picture, so this is a big game with just three more to go.
Our partners at FanDuel Sportsbook have L.A. favored by 2.5 points, with the over/under at 41.5. If you think there could be a passing explosion in the game, you can also get a prop for quarterbacks Bo Nix and Justin Herbert to combine for 500+ passing yards at +170.
These two teams met earlier this season, and the Chargers won 23 to 16 behind 234 yards and a passing TD from Herbert while winning the turnover battle 2 to 0. Nix passed for 216 yards with 2 touchdowns while adding 61 yards rushing.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:15 Central on Amazon Prime Video, and you can discuss it with us all night in this open thread.
