The 2024 NFL season is nearly over, with just the Super Bowl left to determine who will walk away with the Lombardi Trophy.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles are facing off in the title game for the second time in three years, a matchup that has some fans excited, and others ready for a change.

With the Chiefs in a position to potentially win their third-straight Super Bowl for the first time in NFL history, many are rooting against them, hoping to see a new champion.

Deebo Samuel is in that camp, as he mentioned in a recent episode of his podcast.

“The Chiefs beat me twice so I got all the reason to hate… It’s the Chiefs and the Eagles, you know I got a love hate for both, but I got all the love for my brother A.J. Brown over there, so I definitely want to see him win. I definitely don’t want to see Mahomes get the third one. I’m rocking with A.J. and Saquon in this one for sure,” Samuel said.

For whatever reason, many people don’t seem to want the Chiefs to lock up a historic championship.

Championship fatigue can be a real thing for fans, however, and similar to when Tom Brady went on his runs with the New England Patriots, the general public seems to be riding with their opponent.

The Chiefs beat them in the Super Bowl two years ago, but with an improved team in many aspects, the Eagles are looking for a chance to redeem themselves.
