The rankings have begun, and one media outlet doesn’t think the Browns roster is very good.

With the draft over, the Cleveland Browns and the other teams around the league will wrap up their offseason programs over the next few weeks. As everyone now waits for the pads to come on for the start of training camp, media outlets will begin filling the void by ranking teams and players for everything under the sun.

Expect to see everything from power rankings of teams to fantasy rankings of players fill your timeline as the league gets away for a break. Coming off a 3-14 season, don’t expect Cleveland to be ranked anywhere near the top for any of the team rankings.

Pro Football Focus has entered the chat early by passing out roster rankings for all 32 teams, and their opinion of the Browns’ roster was surprisingly bad. They ranked them as having the worst roster in the entire NFL.

While they don’t lay out the exact formula used to rank all of the rosters, it’s clear that PFF grades from last season were the main driver in their evaluation. They projected the starting lineup for each team and predicted that Joe Flacco would be the starting QB.

They listed the defensive line as the team's biggest strength in 2024, but when it came to identifying the biggest weakness, they couldn’t find just one. Instead, they listed the entire offense as the weakest link last season and don’t seem to think Andrew Berry has added many answers in the offseason.

They pointed to the lack of a clear answer at quarterback, the aging offensive line that performed fourth-worst, and called the receiving core the worst in the entire league. They listed Diontae Johnson as the X-factor for the upcoming season and stated that he could provide a much-needed boost by returning to form.

What do you think of them ranking the Browns roster as the worst in the league? Was it too harsh or just where you think they deserve to be ranked? Let us know in the comments below.
