Dave Portnoy Got Community Noted On X After Jinxing The Patriots With Early Celebration vs. Bills [VIDEO]

Dave Portnoy committed a double-whammy of an embarrassing mistake during the New England Patriots- Buffalo Bills game on Sunday.

The Patriots looked poised for another statement victory against their AFC East rivals, taking a 24-7 lead into halftime. New England was just 30 minutes away from securing its first division crown in six years.

And Pats superfan Dave Portnoy was feeling it once the Pats made it 21-0.

We know “28-3” is a legendary saying in Patriots lore. Unfortunately, “21-0” was not their friend today. Portnoy spoke too soon. The Bills scored touchdowns on five straight drives and stunned New England 35-31 to keep their hopes for the division alive.

If that wasn’t embarrassing enough for Dave Portnoy, his X post above got community noted. Technically, he spread false information.

Josh Allen had 193 passing yards, three touchdowns and 48 rushing touchdowns in Buffalo’s comeback win, per ESPN.

The good news for the Pats is that they still control their own destiny. Three more wins clinches the division.
