Despite doing everything he could in his power to have Davante Adams traded to the New York Jets, revealing that trade live on The Pat McAfee Show and walking off the field together arm-in-arm last season like it was the end of a Disney movie, Adams has seemingly already moved on from his old pal Aaron Rodgers.

While Davante Adams has been with the Los Angeles Rams for just 11 games, the future Hall of Fame wide receiver said he’s having the most fun he’s ever had in his career, which is certainly eye-opening considering the way he and Aaron Rodgers made their affection for each other so public over the years, having played 8.5 seasons together in Green Bay and New York.

“Most importantly — I’m having the most fun playing that I’ve ever had, and really grateful to play for a team like this,” Adams told the media this week after the Rams’ beat down of the Tampa Bay Bucs to improve their record to 9-2.

“It’s hard to put your finger on exactly what makes it feel like that, but, it’s just one of those things where we just have a lot of fun together. Everybody, you can see from the celebrations to the intense moments out there, it’s just one of those things where we really find a way to enjoy being — Sean’s always talking about — being totally and completely present where we are,” he continued.

“Nobody is thinking about the third quarter, nobody is thinking about the end of the game, it’s more about just enjoying where our feet are and going out and playing the biggest team sport that there is, together, and coming out, obviously, on top a lot of these games. That helps the feeling a lot, as well.”

So far this season, his first with the Rams after spending last year with the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets, the 32-year-old Adams has 48 catches for 631 yards and 12 touchdowns, which trails only Indianapolis Colts running back Johnathan Taylor for the second most TDs in the league, while also leading Amon-Ra St. Brown for most receiving touchdowns.

The Rams will look to improve their NFC-best 9-2 record in Week 13 when they travel to Carolina to take on the Panthers on Sunday, November 30.
