Rams receiver Davante Adams left Week 15’s game against the Lions with an apparent leg injury and immediately went into the locker room with training staff. Adams was able to get up and walk out on his own power. The early reports were that it could be a hamstring injury for Adams.
The NFL leader in touchdown catches had four catches for 71 yards on nine targets against Detroit, as the Rams lead the Lions 34-24 at the time of the injury. L.A. is battling for their 11th win of the season as they attempt to hold off other NFC teams from the number one seed. Adams has been a key part of the Rams offense en route to L.A.’s conference leading record. Without Adams, pressure increases on options like Colby Parkinson to support Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua.
Adams has been dealing with not one but two hamstring injuries this season but has yet to miss a game. This looks like the worst that injury has been all year, forcing Adams out of a game in the fourth quarter with a lot at stake for the Rams. The Rams have a huge game on Thursday against the Seahawks, making it even more important that Adams is able to quickly bounce back from this injury.
