Danica Patrick has made some surprising claims about her relationship with Aaron Rodgers, claiming the free agent quarterback fostered an atmosphere that was “emotionally abusive” while they were together.
Patrick started dating Rodgers in 2018, and they bought a home together the following year. However, their relationship was over by 2020.
The former NASCAR driver slammed Rodgers in a recent interview with former ESPN reporter Sage Steele, claiming the relationship wore her down “to nothing.”
She said the worst part of the relationship was the breakup, as it came suddenly.
“It was sudden. It felt like it was my life,” she said.
“So when you live with somebody, it’s your whole life… and because the nature of the relationship was emotionally abusive, so that wore me down to nothing.”
Patrick also claimed that Rodgers leaves destruction in his wake, and there’s enough out there to suggest he’s a difficult person to deal with.
“Everything was torn to bits. He leaves a trail of blood,” she added. “I don’t think I’m saying too much earth-shattering stuff – there’s been enough out there.”
Rodgers has only had good things to say about Danica Patrick since their breakup, claiming back in 2022 that the relationship was great for him “because she is on her own journey and spirituality is important to her.”
“We both were finding our way, learning about different things [and] practicing meditation techniques,” he explained.
Patrick has since gotten back on the horse, briefly dating Freshly founder Carter Comstock after the breakup with A-Rod. She is currently dating a mystery partner.
Rodgers is also dating a mystery girl. He recently revealed he’s in a relationship with someone named Brittani, having also dated Shailene Woodley and Mallory Edens.
