Dan Quinn spoke to reporters before the last training camp practice open to the media. Camp is over, and the team is preparing for the preseason finale against the Baltimore Ravens Saturday afternoon, roster cutdowns on Tuesday, and Week 1 against the New York Giants. The team will have a full refereeing crew at today’s practice and they will be doing a lot of situational work.
Jayden Daniels made sure he got Bill Merritt’s first NFL TD on Monday night, and he said on the broadcast that Terry McLaurin and Zach Ertz made sure he got his first TD ball when he was a rookie. Quinn learned those details today, and said it shows the kind of environment they’re working to build here, and the type of person that Daniels is. He’d like to see that become a tradition that happens every year in Washington.
