Dan Quinn opened up his “Tell the Truth Monday” by taking the blame for leaving Jayden Daniels in the game last night, down 38-7. Daniels scrambled on a play, and landed awkwardly on his arm, resulting in an ugly dislocation. Quinn said there wasn’t supposed to be any QB runs on that drive, but with a player like Jayden, he should have known better and kept him out of the game. He said they don’t have a timeline for his return, but there are no fractures.

Quinn confirmed that CB Marshon Lattimore tore his ACL and would miss the remainder of the season. WR Luke McCaffrey broke his collarbone, but his return timeline is to be determined. He also confirmed reports that WR Terry McLaurin is unlikely to play against the Lions this week, and he could be out for the following week’s game with the bye coming the week after. That would be seven games missed for McLaurin’s quad injury that was reaggravated vs the Chiefs.

The Commanders have lost four games in a row and the last three have been blowouts. Dan Quinn said he’s not planning on making any changes to the coaching staff, but DC Joe Whitt will be moving from the box to the field.
