Dan Quinn: Mariota dealing with swelling; Andrew Wylie to start at RG

Dan Quinn spoke to the media before today’s practice. The team announced they were signing QB Jeff Driskel off the Arizona Cardinals practice squad due to Marcus Mariota’s hand and quad injuries. He didn’t give an update on Mariota’s potential availability for the Cowboys game on Christmas day(Thursday). Josh Johnson will get the majority of snaps this week, but Quinn said Driskel is familiar with the system for his time as QB3 last season.

Sam Cosmi suffered a concussion near the end of the Eagles game on Saturday, and has been placed on IR, ending his season. Quinn said that Andrew Wylie will take over for him at RG, the role he played for four weeks this season. Wylie replaced Nick Allegretti at RG, and Chris Paul replaced Brandon Coleman at LG after Week 2.
