Dan Quinn spoke to reporters after today’s practice at the Coliseum in Los Angeles. The team flew to California yesterday as they prepare to face the Chargers on Sunday. The Commanders have been dealing with a lot of injuries, and they ruled out three players yesterday[Terry McLaurin(quad), Noah Brown(groin), Sam Cosmi(knee)]. Deebo Samuel(heel) and Mike Sainristil(knee) haven’t practiced this week, but both were on the field today and will play on Sunday.
Quinn also confirmed that Jayden Daniels will be the starter vs the Chargers. He has missed the last two games due to a knee sprain from Week 2’s loss to the Packers. He has been practicing this week with a knee brace, and will be wearing it for the first time during a game on Sunday. Daniels will be returning to his home state, and playing 70 miles from where he grew up.
