The Philadelphia Eagles hold bragging rights over everybody else right now.
However, not even winning the Super Bowl was enough for Jalen Hurts to get the respect many feel he deserves.
That’s why former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky has come to Hurts’ defense in light of recent QB rankings.
“Jalen Hurts is the quarterback you gotta go through in the NFC to win the Super Bowl. You have to go through Jalen Hurts. Whether you think he’s top five in the league at the position, top seven, top 10, top 12, whatever, you have to go through Hurts to win the Super Bowl. If we’re going to constantly talk about, in relation to the AFC, [Joe] Burrow’s amazing, Lamar [Jackson] is incredible, Josh [Allen] is outstanding, but you gotta go through Patrick [Mahomes]. It’s the same to be said with Jalen Hurts in the NFC,” Orlovsky said.
Really don’t care where you rank Hurts

Hurts may not be the best quarterback in the game, a distinction that was given to Mahomes in a recent ESPN survey.
But that doesn’t mean Hurts, who was at No. 9, isn’t a superstar.
Recently, former NFL MVP Cam Newton said he couldn’t rank Hurts in the top 10 because of Philadelphia’s elite roster, but it’s not like he should be blamed for the teammates he plays with.
Someone still needs to get them the ball.
Hurts has had to deal with these types of comments since college, but he’s responded with two trips to the Super Bowl in the past three seasons.
Granted, he has one of the best supporting casts in the game, but he’s also risen to the occasion when he’s been needed.
They haven’t fallen short because of him, and regardless of how anybody may feel about his skills, his resume is impressive, and no one can take that away.
