KaVontae Turpin is headed back to the Pro Bowl. He is replacing Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Rashid Shaheed who is set to play in the Super Bowl instead.

Originally there were five members of the Cowboys named to the Pro Bowl: Dak Prescott, Tyler Smith, George Pickens, Quinnen Williams, and Brandon Aubrey. Jake Ferguson was previously added as an alternate and so Turpin now gives the team seven overall players who are a part of the festivities.

Turpin’s return prowess was questioned by many throughout this past season, but he was still named a second-team All-Pro which made matters interesting and debatable.

Obviously there is no traditional Pro Bowl anymore, but the Pro Bowl Games that will take place in the week leading up to the Super Bowl with a variety of events in its place. Who would have thought that Dallas would have finished up with seven total Pro Bowl players?
