A Dallas Cowboys cheerleader is off the market, having come off as part of the biggest clutch move of a kicker’s career.
NFL kicker Cade York put a ring on it this weekend, tying the knot with Zoe Dale in an extravagant ceremony at Verona Villa in Frisco, Texas, on Saturday.
Dale, now Zoe York, wore a custom gown from A&BE x Watters Designs as friends and family celebrated with her. Of course, there were a few familiar faces from the NFL sidelines as guests were treated to a surprise “Thunderstruck” routine from Zoe and her fellow Cowboys cheerleaders, pom poms and all.
Cade and Zoe’s relationship became public knowledge last season when they shared a kiss after Monday Night Football, with York kicking for the Cincinnati Bengals then, and went Instagram official sometime after.
The photos below show the kicker looking very emotional while watching his bride-to-be walk down the aisle.
“Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay,” Zoe assured him in the caption,” quoting Ruth 1:16-17, adding, “Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.”
Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders are prohibited from dating Cowboys players, but there’s nothing in the rules stating that they can’t get into relationships with members of rival teams.
These regulations probably don’t go down well with players as they can only watch while folks from other teams make away with their franchise’s dancers. Since we’re talking scripture, this is one example of prophets not being appreciated in their own cities.
Of course, they can always circumvent the rules by switching teams.
