The Dallas Cowboys have announced a significant injury update on All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs ahead of Sunday’s must-win home game against the Minnesota Vikings. But his injury status isn’t the only issue worth monitoring.
Trevon Diggs hasn’t played since Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers. He was placed on the injured reserve with a knee injury and a concussion that he accidentally suffered at home.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Trevon Diggs will miss tomorrow’s clash with the Vikings on ‘Sunday Night Football.’ Not only that, but Schultz reports that the relationship between Diggs and Dallas has “soured” and “been severed.”

The Dallas defense has been a mess since last season, and Diggs’ absence is a key reason why. Though he’s often burned in coverage, Diggs makes up for it with his elite ball-hawking abilities.
Dallas’ defense has predictably regressed following the Micah Parsons blockbuster trade with the rival Green Bay Packers. Add on Digg’s injury, and it’s just been an all-around forgettable disaster on defense.
