🏈 Pat Freiermuth is excited to get Aaron Rodgers back for another year.
“It was great, and coming into this year, obviously, he’s been familiar with Coach McCarthy and that scheme. It’s been cool to see him remember things from the past, throw up old clips and to really detail in on the stuff that he has done a lot in the past,” Freiermuth told Mike Prisuta and Missi Matthews of Steelers.com. “It’s been cool to work with him. And, personally, I’m just excited to have the same quarterback for back-to-back years.”
🏈 Pat Freiermuth also praised Drew Allar.
“Drew, it’s been cool to kind of work with a Penn State guy. It’s just been cool to see him here. First couple days as a pro is really tough on a rookie. New team, new building. And it’s been tough, but he’s been really progressing really well,” Freiermuth said. “He led the team down on a two-minute drive the other day. It’s just been great to see him get more comfortable in the locker room and the offense.”

🏈 Nick Shook of NFL.com ranked the Steelers’ offensive line the second-best in the NFL.
“At number two, I’ve got the Steelers. I’ve got to give a tip of the cap to general manager Omar Khan because, three or four years ago, this was a bad group across the board, and they invested repeatedly through the draft in their offensive line,” Shook said Monday on the Move the Sticks podcast. “It all starts with center Zach Frazier, who I think has become one of the better centers in the NFL and a guy that a lot of people probably overlooked a little bit when he was coming out of college. Mason McCormick has been solid. Troy Fautanu took a huge step in development from year one to year two. I love that they have options. That’s why they’re my number two group.”
