π The Baltimore Ravens blew a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter in Week 1, falling to the Buffalo Bills 41-40. This is considered the worst loss during the John Harbaugh era in Baltimore, as the Ravens had a 99.9% chance of winning with a 40-25 lead with four minutes left in the game.
With the Ravens leading 40-32 and under four minutes remaining, running back Derrick Henry fumbled and Billsβ defensive tackle Ed Oliver came up with the loose ball. This led to a Bills touchdown, cutting the Ravensβ lead to two points.
Teams with 40+ points and 235+ rushing yards in a game were 277-0 including playoffs. They are now 277-1.
The Ravens have now lost eight games since the 2021 season in which they, at one point, had a win probability of at least 90%. Thatβs three more than the next closest team.
