π WPXI: Acrisure Stadium installed a new astroturf field for the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh.
Drone 11 captured the fieldβs installation outside Gate A as part of the 2026 NFL Draft day.
An Acrisure Stadium spokesperson told WPXI they plan to keep the area for Steeler and Pitt game days and events.

π Former Steelers wide receiver Van Jefferson reached a max speed of 22.07 mph on his 65-yard touchdown catch and run against the Minnesota Vikings in Friday nightβs preseason game.
The Titans and Jefferson greed to a one-year deal worth $2.5 million this past March.
Jefferson spent one season with the Steelers, and was the teamβs No. 2 outside receiver throughout the 2024 campaign.
Jefferson played in all 17 games for the Steelers in 2024, and made 12 starts. Despite playing 721 snaps and running a route on 414 snaps, Jefferson was targeted just 40 times. He made 24 catches for 276 yards and two touchdowns.

π Matthew Rooney, the grandson of Steelers legendary founder Art Rooney, died at his Hamptons home last Friday, the team confirmed to The New York Post. He was 51.
βThe Rooney Family is mourning the loss of Matthew,β a Steelers spokesperson said in a statement to The Post.
A cause of death was not revealed.
