🏈 Former NFL head coach Jon Gruden released his preview for the Steelers-Dolphins game on Monday night. Gruden has the Dolphins winning 23-17. He thinks Dolphins’ star running back De’Von Achane will be the difference.
🏈 T.J. Watt’s wife, Dani, released a statement on her Instagram story after Watt completed a successful surgery to stabilize and repair a partially collapsed lung.
The Steelers have ruled Watt out of this week’s game against the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football, head coach Mike Tomlin announced on Friday. Tomlin said Watt has been released from the hospital and is at home resting comfortably.
“Yesterday TJ completed successful surgery to stabilize and repair a partially collapsed lung suffered early Wednesday after a dry needling treatment session at the facility. It has been a very long hard couple of days but he will be home soon to recover,” Dani Watt wrote. “Thank you all for the incredible outpouring of love, prayers, and support the past couple of days. And praise God for the amazing medical teams at both hospitals! 🙏🏼❤️”

🏈 In an interview with Sports Illustrated, J.J. Watt discussed how hard he tries to not be biased when calling his brother T.J. Watt’s games.
🏈 Former Steelers cornerback Darius Slay remains undecided about playing again in 2025, according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus, via Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. For now, Slay is spending time with his family and taking a break from football.
The Buffalo Bills claimed Slay off waivers after the Steelers released him on Dec. 2. Slay never reported to Buffalo.
🏈 Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. has been on a heater as of late. In his last five games, Porter has allowed three catches on 13 targets for 31 yards, three forced incompletions and a 39.6 passer rating allowed.
