🏈 Former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Ryan Harris praised Mike Tomlin.

“It continues, provided he stays healthy and I know from playing with Mike Tomlin and the Steelers, Aaron Rodgers is having the time of his life right now playing. One of the things Mike Tomlin does better than any coach I played for is he handles all the distractions,” Harris said on Sportsnet 590 The Fan. “He handles everything but your job. He’s going to coach the defense. He’s going to coach the coaches. He’s going to make sure everybody knows what to do… He also believes in brutal honesty. And so one of the things I learned playing there at the Steelers, you better get used to, if you have a bad play, having Coach Tomlin talk about it in front of the team. Aaron Rodgers, he’s happy to do that ’cause he knows he can play at a high level.”

🏈 Adam Schefter of ESPN said the Miami Dolphins have received zero calls for All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

“There’s been a lot of Tyreek Hill chatter, and a lot of Tyreek Hill speculation, and I know it will keep going on and on. Let’s not let facts interfere with a good story. The facts are, the Dolphins haven’t gotten any calls about Tyreek Hill. Zero. The facts are that the Dolphins are not looking to deal Tyreek Hill,” Schefter said on Get Up.

Broderick Jones is a little bit of a liability out there, and I mean that respectfully. Lawrence, Mafe, you’re talking about one of the better groups, top to bottom, on the defensive line. It’s gonna be a big test for them. Bigger test than last week. I would argue that. Quinnen Williams is a stud, but top to bottom, it’s a pretty good group.”

🏈 Former Steelers nose tackle Chris Hoke said Jalen Ramsey reminds him of Joey Porter Sr. and James Harrison back in the day.

“He reminds me of back in the day when I played, guys like Joey Porter, guys like James Harrison. Guys that embraced being that edgy guy and brought that energy and nastiness to the field and so it’s good to see that back on the defensive side of the ball for the Steelers,” Hoke said on the Steelers Extra Point postgame show.

🏈 Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez is excited to see Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf grow.

“You can tell a guy like DK Metcalf is really, really gonna benefit from having a steady presence at quarterback like that,”...
