🏈 On Inside the NFL, North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick broke down the key matchups in the Steelers-Ravens crucial AFC North showdown.
🏈 Former Ravens linebacker Bart Scott thinks the Ravens are going to destroy the Steelers on Saturday, especially with George Pickens out. Russell Wilson has thrown under 160 yards in each of the last two games with Pickens sidelined.
“Calvin Austin, come on. We’re not afraid of Calvin Austin,” Scott said on ESPN’s Get Up when going over the Steelers wide receivers.
Scott also said “to who?” when Mike Tannebaum praised Russell Wilson’s deep ball, suggesting that he doesn’t have any reliable receiving options without Pickens.
The Steelers’ offense with and without Pickens is drastically different. The Steelers rank dead last in yards per play, success rate and explosive-play rate without Pickens on the field, according to True Media.
🏈 For the entire 2024 schedule, the Ravens have 16 more days of rest than their opponents, the greatest rest advantage since 1990 when this began to be tracked, but likely the largest of the Super Bowl era, according to Matt Williamson of Steelers.com.
🏈 NFL insider Jordan Schultz thinks there is a very good chance the Steelers extend Russell Wilson similarly to what Tampa did with Baker Mayfield — three years, $100 million.

🏈 Joey Porter Jr. has had 15 flags thrown on him this year. Fourteen have come away from Acrisure Stadium.
🏈 Reining NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett might want out unless the Cleveland Browns can show him a plan for winning now.
“Well, for me, I mean first of all I want to win. I want the Browns to be able to put me and us in position to win,” Garrett said, via Cleveland.com. “I’m not trying to rebuild. I’m trying to win right now. I want that to be apparent, when the season’s over and we have those discussions, I want them to be able to illuminate that for me, illustrate that for me, so that can be something that I can see in the near future. Because that’s all we want to do.”
