🏈 NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger broke down Aaron Rodgers’ quick release in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 24-21 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

“There isn’t a stop watch around that can measure how quickly he was releasing the ball,” Baldinger said.

According to Next Gen Stats, Rodgers recorded an average time to throw of 2.17 seconds in Week 4, his quickest average time to throw in a game since at least 2016. On quick throws (under 2.5 seconds), he completed 13 of 16 pass attempts for 174 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown was an 80-yarder to DK Metcalf.

🏈 Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk said Kenneth Gainwell looked like Franco Harris against the Vikings.

“He looked like Franco Harris against the Vikings in Super Bowl IX. It was like there was never a negative play. Anytime they gave him the ball, he made something happen,” Florio said. “Kind of an afterthought in that running game, and he was the difference maker yesterday. Without his performance, they don’t win that game. He picks up a couple of touchdowns, and he was unstoppable.”

🏈Patrick Queen thought the Steelers shouldn’t have allowed any touchdowns to the Vikings:

“If we’re being honest, it shouldn’t have been no scores, no touchdowns at least,” Queen said. “That was just one more play, we just needed that play to get off the field. That would’ve been a hell of a stop right there, with Payton running him down and us stopping them on fourth down. It’s just one play. The execution wasn’t there. It just makes you so mad because there was just so much leading up to that, and you could get a stop right there, and that would’ve been big for our team, big for our defense. We didn’t get the stop, so I was kind of pissed off at that. But overall, we did pretty good.”
