Daily Dawg Chow (6/18): How ‘bout that World Cup?

It has gotten quiet in town now that the Cleveland Browns are on summer holiday, so hopefully everyone has taken the opportunity to check out the World Cup.

Wednesday night marked the end of the first week of games, meaning every team has played once. And there have been plenty of fun stories to follow:

• Scotland’s Tartan Army taking over Boston. (The fans at every site have been having what appears to be a non-stop party.)
• Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, and Lionel Messi flexing their goal-scoring muscles.
• Cape Verde holding its own against Spain.
• The US Men’s Team getting off to a hot start to group play.
