The Los Angeles Rams are a little under six weeks away from final cuts, when the team will have to release players after training camp and submit their official 53-man roster. Crunching these numbers is exceptionally difficult and although there are always tricks and loopholes to use, in most cases if you really want a player on the bubble, you will need to cut someone you don’t want to cut.
Do you have what it takes to do Sean McVay’s job this year?
Here’s your opportunity to use a website that easily allows you to:
It’s really that simple! Just go do it. Now!
A few tips:
Do not try and avoid keeping a longsnapper because you want to keep another receiver. That’s cheating and it will be noted. The Rams have to keep a longsnapper, a kicker, and a punter.
Tell us, what was your hardest roster decision? Who did you hate to cut the most? Who is your “have to have” player?
I’m always fascinated when fans want to keep someone and didn’t crunch the numbers: For someone to stay, someone has to go. And no, it’s not going to be Jake Cardona. Just have the guts to cut a player you don’t want to cut. Take the risk.
And let’s see what happens.
Make your own 53-man roster now and share your results in the comments with the rest of the fans.
I’ll share an aggregate fan-made 53-man Rams roster next week when I compile all the results together.
