The Dallas Cowboys travel to the Motor City this week to face the Detroit Lions. The Cowboys have a 6-5-1 record and are in second place among the NFC teams trying to crash the Wild Card playoff party. The Lions are the first team out of the playoff picture right now at 7-5. That shows just how important this matchup will be for each team. Additionally for the Cowboys, they have hopes of catching Philadelphia in the NFC East, so they can’t afford to drop a game in that race, either.
The Cowboys come in with all the momentum as they are riding a tree-game win streak and are looking really healthy for this time of the year. The Lions, on the other hand, have lost two of their last three and are a MASH unit with injuries all over the place.
Still, they are a dangerous team that is at home and is fighting for their playoff lives. It will be a battle in Detroit.
