The Dallas Cowboys will end their season today with a game against their NFC East rivals, the New York Giants. The game will be on the road and carry no impact beyond draft position for 2026. The line from the Dallas camp is they want to win to reach 8-8-1 and avoid a losing season.
As such, it is expected that healthy starters will play, including Dak Prescott. How long those guys will play is unknown. Brian Schottenheimer could go for the win and play them the whole game, or he could give some down-roster guys a chance to shine.
Whatever happens, after it is over, we move on to the 2026 offseason.
