Well done Cowboys fans, you made it. That was one long offseason but football is finally back and the Dallas Cowboys opened the season playing against the Philadelphia Eagles in Lincoln Financial Field.
The team, for the first time in 2025 get ready to take on the season.

Before the Eagles could take any momentum from the game’s first turnover, the East Coast weather had a say.
Following the delay, the game script completely flipped and the defenses had all the say.
The Cowboys stiffened up against the run to force three straight punts, and Solomon Thomas was huge on the interior.
A Cowboys offense that scored on their first four possessions of the game had plenty of chances to retake the lead, but let them all slip away.
Lamb did go to the medical tent after the Cowboys’ final turnover on downs.
And the Eagles were able to get the one first down they needed to run out the clock on a 24-20 victory.
Final thoughts on a night where the Cowboys did a lot of encouraging things, but still fell short.
The Cowboys know they need to win and lose with their highest paid players, and saw that unfold in a way that was shocking with Lamb’s crucial drops.
