The Dallas Cowboys play on Christmas Day, but will receive no playoff gift from Santa this season. Eliminated from the playoffs, they are playing for pride. Beating a divisional rival can always get the juices going.
The divisional rival for this week is the Washington Commanders club, a franchise that has struggled worse than the Cowboys this season. That’s a big comedown for Dan Quinn and company after their showing in the NFC Championship game last year.
Two old rivals play with nothing on the line on Christmas Day. We’ll see what happens.
