The Dallas Cowboys pulled off an incredible win on Sunday against the New York Giants. It took almost all of overtime for it to happen, but a win is a win and this team is 1-1 as opposed to 0-2.
Unfortunately the win may have come at a cost for the Cowboys, although that remains to be seen. The broadcast noted that wide receiver KaVontae Turpin and center Cooper Beebe both left at different points with injuries and both situations were given some detail after the game ended.
As far as Beebe is concerned, his right ankle was reportedly very swollen. Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram made sure to try and contextualize just how much.
While Brian Schottenheimer did not provide an update that painted picture appears to be quite troubling. We will see what the Cowboys have to say as a new week moves along, but keep all of this in mind.
As matters relate to KaVontae Turpin, he appears to be okay according to NFL Network’s Jane Slater. He was wearing a neck brace according to her, though.
Slater noted that Turpin’s x-rays came out good which is the most important thing.
The Cowboys will surely provide some updates on both Beebe and Turpin as the week moves along as noted. We will keep things updated around here as they do.
