The Cowboys injury report for Thursday
After their Monday night meltdown versus the Cincinnati Bengals, the Dallas Cowboys look to regroup and salvage a season that might have figuratively been over weeks ago. Their opponent this week, the Carolina Panthers, are 3-10, but have a renewed purpose. The Panthers are 2.5-point favorites (growing from 1.5-points earlier in the week), their first time being favored since 2022. However, that has something to do with the Cowboys’ many injuries. After Thursday’s practice, here’s where the Cowboys are regarding their injury report.
Still in the league’s concussion protocol, Cooper Beebe did not practice Thursday. Joining him among those not in team activities was DeMarvion Overshown (knee), who will be placed on season-ending injured reserve in the near future, and Juanyeh Thomas (knee). Thomas’ second-consecutive DNP is trending toward the likelihood that he will miss a second-consecutive game. Linebacker Erick Kendricks (shoulder) did not practice after sitting out yesterday.
Trevon Diggs (knee) and CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) were limited at Thursday’s practice, as was Jourdan Lewis (hamstring). DaRon Bland (foot), Rico Dowdle (knee), and Tyler Smith (ankle) were full participants today.
For Carolina, cornerback Jaycee Horn (groin) and linebacker Josey Jewell (hamstring) were limited again today. Meanwhile, Chuba Hubbard and A’Shawn Robinson were back at practice after being given the day off yesterday. Edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney (rest/knee) was also a full participant and running back Raheem Blackshear was upgraded to limited.
