The Dallas Cowboys trip to play the Carolina Panthers will be impacted by a lengthy injury report for the team. After Thursday’s practice, we can see a bit more as to who will be available Sunday, before tomorrow’s more conclusive final report. Here’s what we know now regarding both teams’ injury statuses.
Still no official practice for CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and KaVontae Turpin (foot). The former is ramping up his rehab and making incremental progress in recovery. As of now, it appears Lamb is targeting the big division game against Washington for his return, as is Turpin. Jack Sanborn (concussion) is still not practicing, and the same is true of Miles Sanders (ankle/knee) and of course Tyler Booker (ankle) is still out. Dante Fowler missed practice with an illness.
Donovan Wilson (knee/ankle) returned to practice in a limited capacity after sitting out yesterday. Perhaps more so for load management, but DaRon Bland (shoulder) and Trevon Diggs (knee) were limited participants again today. Edge rushers Marshawn Kneeland (ankle) and James Houston (knee) were limited today. Also, Caelen Carson (knee) and Sam Williams (shoulder) were full participants with the former hoping to return from a stint on injured reserve. Tyler Guyton (concussion) was upgraded to a full participant. Meanwhile Tyler Smith (knee) was still limited.
For the Carolina Panthers, running back Chuba Hubbard (calf) did not practice on Thursday and was withheld from team drills. Also not practicing again today was tackle Taylor Moton (elbow). However, former Cowboy, Mike Jackson (ribs), was a full participant for the second day in a row, as was wide receiver Jalen Coker (quad).
