Blogging The Boys
With the Dallas Cowboys preparing for their second Monday night game in the last three weeks, they are looking as healthy as they have been in some time.
The defensive side of the ball for the Cowboys is prominently featured in today’s injury report with the only change from yesterday being Alijah Clark (ribs/illness) downgraded to a DNP. Solomon Thomas (calf) was seen yesterday in the rehab group and didn’t work into team drills. Today, he was also absent from team activities and was cited as a DNP for the second consecutive day. Edge rusher Dante Fowler (shoulder) and safeties Malik Hooker (toe) and Donovan Wilson (elbow/shoulder) were limited today.
DeMarvion Overshown (knee), Shavon Revel (knee), and Perrion Winfrey (back) were full participants. All three are hoping to see their first game action of the season, and it’s looking pretty good with full participation so far this week. Finally, Tyler Smith (knee) was limited on Thursday.
Also, an important note from the Las Vegas Raiders side: Quarterback Geno Smith, who was hobbled last Thursday against the Denver Broncos, was not on the injury report yesterday. He suffered a quad contusion against Denver but has gotten healthy enough not to be on the team’s report.
