Cowboys Fantasy Football Rundown: Huge Scoring Opportunities in Week 6

Cowboys Fantasy Football Rundown: Huge Scoring Opportunities in Week 6
Inside The Star Inside The Star

Yet another NFL Sunday has arrived, which means it’s time to double-check your lineups and scan the rankings — and if Dallas Cowboys fantasy football information is your focus, you’re in the right spot.

I’ve been covering the team from a fantasy perspective throughout this season, and if you’ve got one-or-two guys from America’s Team, you don’t need me to tell you it’s been a doozy.

From the emergence of now-key fantasy starters to the multi-week injury to CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys’ rankings here have done nothing but fluctuate.

That will stay true this week, as well, considering their Week 5 showing against the Jets, and what the Carolina Panthers bring to the table.

So, without further ado, let’s get into ranking the Dallas Cowboys, from a fantasy perspective, as the team heads into Charlotte for a critical Week 6 matchup. As Rico Dowdle said this week, we ought to buckle up.

  1. Javonte Williams: Former Bronco Running Into Stardom In Dallas

Until Lamb returns, there should be little doubt about the top guy on this list: it is Javonte Williams.

The former Tar Heel and Denver Bronco has been flat-out ridiculous in Dallas, and he is quickly approaching star territory if he keeps it up.

Williams had a new season high in rushing yards against the Jets in Week 5, and topped his Week 2 high for fantasy points in PPR leagues. His 26.9 points also marked his fourth 20+ point fantasy game this season.

There is no doubt, at this point, about his starting status in every fantasy league. If this guy doesn’t claim your RB1 spot, you must be stacked at the position.

  1. Dak Prescott: MVP-Level Performance Sends Fantasy Value Sky High

Over the last two weeks, former MVP runner-up and current candidate for that same award, Dak Prescott, has put up nearly 60 fantasy points.

Against the Packers, we saw a 30+ point performance, and he followed that up with a near-30 bomb against the Jets. In total, he has thrown for seven touchdowns, no interceptions, and over 500 yards in that span.

In most leagues, he comes into Week 6 as the fifth-ranked scoring fantasy quarterback, and he’s looking to keep it up against Carolina.

Prescott is quickly becoming a must-start in fantasy football.

  1. Jake Ferguson: Can’t Ignore “Ferg’s” Breakout Fantasy Year Anymore

Brock Bowers and Trey McBride owners might not be able to stomach it, but Jake Ferguson is the top-scoring fantasy tight end in 2025 by a country mile.

“Ferg” has completely exploded this season; only Puka Nacua has more total receptions, and the next closest tight end (McBride) is a full 12 catches behind.

Following a low-scoring Week 1, Ferguson has scored at least 16 points in every game, and he’s gotten into the end zone three times over...
