Dallas Cowboys fans have been on a roller-coaster this year, but with all the ups and downs, they are about right back to where they were before the season began.
Heading into the beginning of this 2025 season, Cowboys fans were a little shaken after the trade of their best player, Micah Parsons. At that moment in time, only 35% of fans felt confident about the direction of the team heading into the season. Having a first-year head coach in Brian Schottenheimer and a re-tooled staff, along with injuries in the secondary and the aforementioned Parsons’ trade, tended to be disconcerting.
A close call with the defending World Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, on the road, sent that number skyrocketing to 68%. But after an overtime win and a seriously disheartening loss to the Chicago Bears, that number plunged to 7%.
A decent tie game against the Green Bay Packers has resurrected some of the fanbase, and as of today 39% of Cowboys fans are confident in the direction of the team. The Cowboys seem to do better with the fans when they don’t actually win the games!
A win this week will likely push that number higher, but the amount of confidence boost will probably still be small. We’ll check in on that again next week, but will your confidence go up if the Cowboys win?
