Dak Prescott is ready to go.

While it’s not much of a surprise, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback delivered some positive news on Tuesday.

One of the biggest reasons for the team’s downfall in 2024 was Prescott’s hamstring injury. Once Prescott went down, any chance of the team making the postseason was crushed.

On Tuesday, the Cowboys’ starting quarterback spoke with the media and revealed that he is fully healthy heading into the team’s training camp.

“I’m healthy as I’ll be,” Dak Prescott said.

“I’ll be full go for camp. I’m healthy, yeah. I think soon here I’ll probably get an official sign off from doc. But I’m healthy.”

However, one more checkup with the team doctors will occur before it is officially official.

Prescott, who turns 31 at the end of the month, tore his hamstring off the bone in Dallas’ Week 9 matchup with Atlanta last season and missed the rest of the season.

In his eight games last year, Prescott completed 64.7 percent of his passes for 1,978 yards with 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

The 2025 Season is Important For Dak Prescott

The Dallas Cowboys proved to everyone in the league how much they trust Prescott by making him the highest-paid player in the NFL just mere hours before the 2024 regular season kicked off.

An unfortunate hamstring injury would sideline the Cowboys quarterback for the majority of the season, all but squashing any hopes of the team making the postseason.

We are just a few months away from the 2025 season, which means renewed hopes for Prescott to prove the Cowboys made the right decision in giving him a massive deal.

Prescott is entering his 10th NFL season as Dallas’ starter, and his desire to hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the Cowboys burns brightly. The team’s success rests solely on his shoulders, and if he can stay healthy, he has proven that he can put up monster numbers.

He has a new head coach, some new playmakers, and pretty much everything he needs to succeed.
