The Cowboys are gearing up for their first game in 2026 and their final game of the 2025 season. With no playoffs to contend for and no playoff hopes to spoil, today’s game against the Giants is well and truly for pride. And the Cowboys will have some new faces suiting up for them today based on the inactive list.
It was a lengthy injury report, one that reflects Brian Schottenheimer’s desire to get some playing time for his younger players in this season finale. Both Javonte Williams and Malik Davis were moved to the injured reserve, and that means both Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah will be active and likely playing a good amount today.
Williams and Davis are on the injured reserve, but other starters/key players who are inactive today include DeMarvion Overshown and Shavon Revel, both of whom came back from injuries earlier this season to play. They join the inactive list alongside Perrion Winfrey and rookies Jay Toia and Alijah Clark.
As for the Giants, they had already ruled out a lengthy list of players coming into this one. Notably, they’ll be without safety Jevon Holland, tight end Theo Johnson, and wide receiver Jalin Hyatt.
