Roger Staubach played quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys from 1969 to 1979, becoming one of the most iconic players in franchise history. Nicknamed “Captain America” and later “Captain Comeback,” Staubach was known for his leadership, poise under pressure, and ability to rally his team to victory. He led the Cowboys to two Super Bowl titles, earned six Pro Bowl selections, and was named the Super Bowl MVP. Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985, Staubach is remembered as the face of the Cowboys during the 1970s and one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
